The Share Health Southeast Georgia Scholarship Fund was created to provide annual
scholarships to graduating seniors from high schools and homeschools in the 16-county
region of the Southeast Health District who show an interest in pursuing a career in
healthcare. The following criteria will apply:
1. Plan to study public health/healthcare in their university or college work.
2. Maintain good grades.
3. Be involved in extracurricular activities, especially those activities involved in health,
within the school and/or within the community.
4. Attend a college or university.
5. Complete an application form and include a one-page essay reflecting the role
healthcare plays in his/her life, how the major they are pursuing relates and where
in Georgia they want to be employed after they graduate.
6. Submit two signed letters of reference.

The COAG Scholarship is open to any Georgia high school senior who is a United States and Georgia citizen graduating by the spring of 2025. You must be seeking an undergraduate degree, not a diploma, or certification.

The Okefenokee Swamp Park Inc., in an effort to support a graduating senior who is planning to pursue a postsecondary degree in one of the Biological/Physical Sciences or Science Education, will award a $1,000 scholarship in the spring of 2025 to the selected student from each of the Okefenokee RESA area school districts (Atkinson, Bacon, Brantley, Camden, Charlton, Clinch, Coffee, Pierce, and Ware). Additionally, the OSP Scholar will also receive a “Lifetime Pass” for entrance into the Okefenokee Swamp Park.
This scholarship will be awarded to an individual who has shown a passion for science and is also dedicated to influencing growth in science. The recipient will be an individual who has a strong desire to communicate with others the importance of science, research, science education, and/or science advocacy. Preference will be given to those applicants who can show evidence of a profound bond to the ecosystems in the Okefenokee RESA area school districts, including but not limited to the Okefenokee Swamp.

Corner Market Antiques has created the Make your Mark Scholarship to assist graduates in pursuing their dreams. This scholarship in the amount of $500 will be awarded to one senior enrolled at Ware, Pierce, or Brantley County High School. Each year the Brantley County School System will award the Ava Rose Strickland Lightsey Scholarship to at least one eligible graduate of Brantley County High School who is enrolled in and will attend an accredited college, university, or vocational school.
At least one scholarship will be awarded to a Brantley County graduate who meets eligibility and agrees to the terms of the scholarship.
The recipient will receive $1,000 per semester, for two semesters per year, for a maximum of 4 years or 8 semesters.

Marion Lee "Mack" Carver loved serving the community. He served as the Hortense Volunteer Fire Chief for years, ordained Baptist minister, Georgia Emergency Management Manager and Brantley Co School bus manager for years. Mr. Mack loved working at the bus barn and helping at schools in any way he could to make their day better.
Mr. Mack believed in helping anyone no matter who they were. Mr. Mack is no longer with us, but his dream to help others lives on through his family and through this scholarship.
One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a Brantley Co graduate.
